The purpose of the report was to evaluate the effects of organic matter on the productivity of spinach (Spinacia oleracea L.) Viroflay Improvet variety in the district of Lamas. A completely randomized block design (CBAD) was used, with five doses T0: absolute control; T1= 10, T2= 20, T3= 30 t.ha-1 of organic matter and T4= chemical control (150-45-200). The results of the soil physical-chemical analysis were: pH, organic matter and electrical conductivity with 6.47, 2.21 % and 246.3 uS. The texture was: sandy clay loam. ppm) and Potassium (198.21 ppm). The chemical analysis of exchangeable cations was: Calcium (16 meq/100g), Magnesium (1.21 meq/100g) and Sodium (0.56 meq/100g). The C.I.C was 18.28 meq/100 g. The physical-chemical analysis of the poultry manure was: pH, organic matter with 7.54; 58%. The major elements available were: Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium (medium). The chemical analysis of exchangeable cations was: Calcium, Magnesium and Sodium (medium). Treatments T4 (chemical control with 150-45-200) and T3 (30 t. ha-1 of organic matter), reported mean increases in utility with 38 550.0 and 26 356.25 kg. ha-1; 154.2 g and 105.42 g of plant weight; 8.6 leaves and 7.87 leaves per plant and with 28.02 and 25.0 cm of plant size. Likewise, the chemical control showed the best value of benefit/cost with 1.249 and a productivity of 124.91%, followed by T3, T2 and T1 with values of B/C: 0.434; 0.148, 0.046 and with profitability of 43.43; 14.84 and 4.57%.
