This research entitled: Profitability of inorganic solid waste recycling companies in the province and region of San Martin, 2014, seeks to establish the main causes of profitability in solid waste recycling companies in the province of San Martin, applied research, descriptive level and a non-experimental cross-sectional design, with a sample of 2. The results show that the profitability of the solid waste recycling companies in the province of San Martin is good, with profitability on equity ranging between 0.56 and 0.42, profitability on sales between 0.56 and 0. 42, profitability on sales between 0.18 and 0.15, gross profitability on sales between 0.42 and 0.48, current liquidity between 8.55 and 7.27, severe liquidity between 0.82 and 4.76, short-term indebtedness between 0.06 and 0.05 and total indebtedness between 0.06 and 0.05. It is concluded that the main causes of profitability in the solid waste recycling enterprises in the province of San Martin are the uniformity of sales throughout the year and the cost of production, where the costs are mainly structured by the purchase of raw materials (63.60% - 52.10%), transport and freight (23.90% - 31.00%), direct labour (7.20% and 9.30%), indirect labour (4.00% - 5.60%) and these are poorly structured.
