The present research entitled: "Response to the application of four doses of phosphate rock in the production of tomato crop (Lycopersicum esculentum L.) Var Rio Grande in acid soils in Alto Huallaga - Tocache", was carried out with the objective of determining the adequate dose of phosphate rock for the production of tomato crop (Lycopersicum esculentum L.). using localized applications of phosphate rock doses under conditions of Alto Huallaga-Tocache, looking for improvements in crop yield and profitability in the province of Tocache. The Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) statistical design was used, with 5 treatments and 4 blocks. The following results were obtained from the evaluations: the best plant heights were obtained with the application of treatments T3 (12 t/ha of phosphate rock) and T2 (8 t/ha of phosphate rock), with 0.98 cm and 0.95 cm, being statistically equal to each other. Control treatment showed investment losses. With the application of 12 t/ha phosphate rock and 8 t/ha phosphate rock for tomato production in the upper Huallaga, the highest number of flowers was achieved with treatments T3 (12 t/ha) and T2 (8 t/ha), with 16, 04 and 15.56 on average, respectively, and the highest number of bunches with T3 (12 t/ha), T2 (8 t/ha) and T4 (16 t/ha) with 6.15, 6.04 and 5.81 fruits harvested, respectively, which are statistically equal. With the applications of treatments T2 (8 t/ha), T3 (12 t/ha) and T4 (16 t/ha) with 5.32, 5.00 and 4.80 kg of harvested fruit respectively the best results were obtained in terms of kilograms of harvested fruit as well as stem length, with treatment T2 (8 t/ha) achieving 6.44 cm followed by treatment T3 (12 t/ha) with 6.36 cm. Finally, with respect to fruit diameter, treatment T8 (8 t/ha) obtained the best diameter with 5.50 cm followed by T4 (16 t/ha) with 5.44 cm, showing that they were statistically equal.
