The research establishes the relationship between the family social climate with the resilience of the students of the fourth grade of secondary education in the educational institution N° 00932 "Monterrey" of Nueva Cajamarca in 2018. The specific objectives were: to analyze the relationship between the family social climate and the resilience of students in the fourth grade of secondary education, to analyze the relationship between the development of the family social climate and the resilience of students in the fourth grade of secondary education, and to analyze the relationship between the stability of the family social climate and the resilience of students in the fourth grade of secondary education. In the theoretical framework, the family social climate is based on Galarza (2012), Pichardo (2002) and Moos, R., Moos, B. and Tricket (1989), who argue that it is an environment that shapes human behavior; and resilience on Kotliarenco (1997), Becoña (2006), Grieco (2012) and Wagnild, G. M. and Young, H. (1993), who argue that it is the way in which the human being recovers and adapts when faced with adversity. Based on this, the research hypothesis is posed: There is a significant relationship between the family social climate with the resilience of students in the fourth grade of secondary education; and null that there is no relationship. Methodologically, a descriptive correlational research design was used, with a sample of 46 students, and in the process of statistical analysis it was obtained that the family social climate is not related to the resilience of students in the fourth grade of secondary education, because the p-value is greater than 0.05, since it obtained a value of 0.420.
