Resilience and prevention of teenage pregnancy in students from 3rd to 5th year of High School, I.E. Angel Custodio Garcia Ramirez-2023 The issue of adolescent pregnancy resilience and prevention is a confusing and multifaceted issue. Adolescent pregnancy poses considerable challenges for both adolescents and society as a whole. Objective: To determine the relationship between resilience and adolescent pregnancy prevention in students from 3rd to 5th year of high school, I.E. Ángel Custodio García Ramírez-2023. The research was basic, non- experimental, quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational, with a population and sample of 185 students between the 3rd and 5th year of high school. The technique was the survey and the instrument was the questionnaire. The level of adolescent pregnancy prevention was medium by 81.6%, followed by high by 17.3%. There is a significant relationship between the dimensions of resilience and adolescent pregnancy prevention such as self-esteem and self-efficacy (Pearson = 0.191; p = 0.009), optimism and positive thinking (Pearson = 0.216; p = 0.003) are positively significantly related to the ability of adolescents to prevent adolescent pregnancy (p<0.05). There is a statistically significant relationship between resilience and the prevention of adolescent pregnancy p-value = 0.008 and Pearson’s correlation = 0.195; indicating that the ability of adolescents to prevent pregnancy depends positively on resilience.
