Abstract: Conocimiento y uso de métodos anticonceptivos en estudiantes del colegio Alfredo Tejada Díaz
El objetivo: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento y uso de métodos anticonceptivos en estudiantes del colegio Alfredo Tejada Díaz – 2024. Metodología: estudio básico cuantitativo, diseño descriptivo, tipo transversal, asimismo observacional con nivel descriptivo correlacional, muestra a 188 alumnos del 5to año, técnica de estudio: encuesta y como instrumento el cuestionario. Resultados: se encontró un conocimiento “MEDIO” en 59,6%, conocimiento “ALTO” en 38,8%, en relación al Uso de métodos anticonceptivos “A VECES” lo usan en un 42,6 % “NUNCA” lo usan el 39,4 %. Los estudiantes con un conocimiento “MEDIO” el 64,8% nunca usan medios de anticoncepción, los de conocimiento “ALTO” solo 47,2% usan preservativo. Conclusión: se concluye que, si existe relación entre el conocimiento y uso de métodos anticonceptivos con un grado de relación positiva aceptable 0,655, finalmente se sugiere brindar capacitaciones sobre de métodos anticonceptivos para mejorar el conocimiento y puedan usarlo porque existe gran parte de escolares que no usan métodos anticonceptivos y el conocimiento es de nivel medio en la mayor parte de la población.

A sample of 188 students of the 5th year was taken, a survey was used as a study technique and a questionnaire was used as an instrument. Results: “MEDIUM” knowledge was found in 59.6%, “HIGH” knowledge in 38.8%, regarding the use of contraceptive methods “SOMETIMES” was found in 42.6% and “NEVER” in 39.4%. A total of 64.8% of students with “MEDIUM” knowledge never use contraceptive methods and only 47.2% of students with “HIGH” knowledge use condoms. Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and use of contraceptive methods with an acceptable positive relationship of 0.655. Finally, it is suggested to provide training on contraceptive methods to improve knowledge so that they can use them because a large number of school children do not use contraceptive methods and knowledge is at a medium level in most of the population.
