The research entitled "Internal inventory control and its impact on the rotation of merchandise in the retailer "Marcelo and Danae" Tarapoto, 2019", had as general objective to determine the incidence of internal inventory control in the rotation of merchandise in the retailer Marcelo and Danae Tarapoto, period 2019. The research had a study sample of 7 employees of the organization, a survey was used to collect data on both variables, and applied to what the sample dictates. The type of study is applied, the research design is non-experimental. By applying Pearson's test, the following result was obtained, which indicates the existence of a positive incidence since the correlation coefficient presents a positive value of 0.879, indicating that the correlation is strong. Therefore, the Hi is accepted, which states that "Internal inventory control has a positive impact on the rotation of merchandise in the commercial company Marcelo y Danae Tarapoto, period 2019". The internal inventory control variable shows that 71% of the respondents had a deficient level, while 14% stated that it was at a moderate and efficient level. As for the variable merchandise turnover, 57% of the respondents had a deficient level, while 29% stated that it was at a moderate level and 14% were at an efficient level.
