A survey was applied to 30 students for each variable; these surveys were the instruments used to collect the data, which were subjected to statistical techniques such as mean, standard deviation, frequency table and percentages to determine the variables; Pearson's coefficient was used for correlation. It was concluded from the procedure carried out that the Pearson correlation coefficient is 0.974, according to the Pearson correlation estimation scale, there is a very strong positive correlation, and in addition, the significance level is less than 0.05, indicating that there is a relationship between the variables. Therefore, it can be concluded that the relationship between the level of conventional advertising and content with social trends in the students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, UCP - 2020, is direct and significant.
