Impact of investment in infrastructure and equipment in basic education on the economic growth of the San Martín region, period 2010-2017 The San Martin region, characterized by its cultural richness and biodiversity, faces significant challenges in the field of education that have a direct impact on its economic growth. For years, investment in educational infrastructure and equipment has been insufficient, which has led to multiple problems that affect the quality of education and, therefore, the capabilities and skills of the region's human capital. The purpose was to determine the influence that investment in infrastructure and equipment in basic education has on the economic growth of the San Martin region 2010-2017. To achieve the objective, two documentary analysis guides were administered considering the documentary collection concerning investment in infrastructure and equipment in basic education and economic growth. This was a basic study, of relational level, non-experimental design and longitudinal cut. The main result was that investment in infrastructure and equipment in basic education did not influence economic growth, given that the bilateral significance was greater than 0.05. Finally, it was concluded that investment in the environment where academic work is carried out in the San Martin region did not influence the total goods and services produced in the region during the period under analysis.
