The thesis entitled "The contentious administrative process and its relationship with the principle of procedural speed in cases followed by the Executing Unit 301- Education Bajo Mayo-San Martín, years 2017-2018", from the point of view of the constitutive principles of this procedure and the claim made manifest in the process; and the principle of speed, as a way of verifying that the procedural action is carried out without delay and in accordance with what is stipulated in the legal terms, investigation of the basic, quantitative type; correlational level and non-experimental design, having as a sample 32 files, applying the Observation technique and the checklist as an instrument. The conclusions express that, there is a relationship between the contentious-administrative process with the principle of procedural speed in the cases followed by the Executing Unit 301- Education Bajo Mayo- San Martín, years 2017-2018, the observed results allow us to infer that the hypothesis. The contentious-administrative process is deficient, with a good value of 10,8%; and the application of the principle of procedural speed is deficient with a good value of 13,3%.
