The thesis entitled "Application of IAS-PS 17 and the administration of movable and immovable property in the District Municipality of Cacatachi, year 2021", is an applied research, with explanatory design. The population was defined as all the employees of the administrative and accounting area and all the accounting information related to the management of property, machinery and equipment, as well as the management of movable and immovable property for the period 2021, and the sample was of the census type. The instruments used were the questionnaire and the documentary analysis form. The results indicate that the level of implementation of the accounting elements of IAS-PS 17 is 75%, the level of implementation of the financial elements of IAS-PS 17 is 66.7%, and the level of administration of movable and immovable assets in the District Municipality of Cacatachi, year 2021 is 30%. It is concluded that the level of application of IAS-PS 17 and the administration of Movable and Immovable Assets in the District Municipality of Cacatachi, year 2021, are deficient, with a value of 57.1% for the variable IAS-PS 17 and 30% for the variable Administration of Movable and Immovable Assets.
