This research work was the development of organic fertilizers, using solid waste as an input, by the method of composting, which were subsequently applied to plantations Lycopersicon esculentum Miller (Tomato Rio Grande). The aim of the study was to evaluate the efficiency of the product made in the production of Lycopersicon esculentum Miller (Tomato Rio Grande), as well as determine the time required for obtaining the Altomayo mature compost, also evaluate compost quality, asan organic fertilizer that can be used as a soil for agricultural purposes. Composting means the biochemical degradation of organic waste mixed with a support material such as grass, wood shavings, sawdust, paper, etc. Under controlled conditions oftemperature, humidity. pH, aeration. The product obtained or compost, is generally used as a breeder and / or degraded soil conditioner. The experimental work was to identify a sector of Moyobamba, which is their solid waste collected for six consecutive days. Weight data were taken, characterization and waste density, early in the process to yield 637.25 kg of waste, with a total volume of 481.55 kg/m3. lt began the process of composting, building a pyramid whose base was lrn2, and formed by branches and leaves, where the stack was formed every 30cm of waste, would placing 1 cm to 5cm thick, up to 1.2 m in height , to eventually cover the entire stack with rice hulls, which are recorded in the data throughout the duration of the process. Thus determining the time required for the production of compost in Moyo bamba is 100 days about, during which time decreased by over 50% in parameters such as weight and volume. Retrieved final product "Compost", proceeded to make 3 laboratory analysis to determine their respective quality, and rule out possible contamination, where results indicate that the resulting compost is a "Compost oftype A", plus the same no pollution or by the presence of heavy metals or pathogens by then determine that it is suitable for all kinds of crops, including human consumption, as established by the EPA standards. Finally we applied the compost crops Lycopersicon esculentum Miller (Tomato Rio Grande), using composting per meter, depending on the respective treatment, treatment zero, known as control, treatment 01, which was paid a total lkg of compost I mi; 02 treatment, which was credited with 1.5kg of compost / mi and treating mind end 03, which is applied to compost 2kg / mi. Where was obtained as a final result that the effectiveness of the product is reflected in the treatment 03, which was obtained in tomato 3kg I Plant, which is the statistically and numerically exceeded that for the other treatments.
