Structural and cost analysis of a three-story building using the masonry and rc framing systems in Tarapoto 2022 The purpose of this study is to perform a structural cost analysis of a three-story multifamily house + rooftop using a confined masonry system and a frame system to determine which of these two options is more economical and to understand the differences between them, both in the metrics of the items and the budget for each construction system. This is done taking into account the need to know the usefulness of each system and the investment required. Its development takes place in the district of Tarapoto, province of San Martin, department of San Martin, land located in the Barrio Partido Alto sector, corner between Jr. Peru and Jr. Juan de la Riva. The owner of the lot, Lesly Rengifo Tuanama, who provided the architecture and based on that the development proceeded, including the respective analysis and calculations. The structural analysis and cost phase begins with the design sequence: Pre-dimensioning of structural elements, load metrics, structural analysis, reinforced concrete design of each room of the house, using NTP E.020, E.030, E.050, E.060 and E.070. The methods used in the report are descriptive, in the sense that each proposed system is first subjected to a structural analysis and design to determine the dimensions of the structural elements that comply with R.N.C and ACI 318-08. In order to perform the metrics, obtain a structural budget and a performance of each structural system, S10, ETABS and other complementary programs are also used. Finally, the plans were detailed according to standards, therefore, the report can be confirmed with the objectivity of the thesis by analyzing in a comparative table that the confined masonry system is more accessible or low cost in the construction of houses in the city of Tarapoto.
