For today's society, the implementation of education with new technological trends is very necessary, as they constitute the determinants of modern coexistence. One of the advantages of its use, such as multimedia in this case, is a resource that reactivates the potentialities of learning in a comprehensive manner at very low costs. In this way, the efforts to innovate and improve resources and teaching strategies contribute to the enhancement of educational quality and performance in the socio-technical context of the population's development scenario. In this sense, with the present quasi-experimental study, the purpose is to test the effectiveness of the application of the Interactive Multimedia Learning System (SAMI) in the teaching and learning of Physics subjects, in the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the National University of San Martin - Tarapoto (UNSM - T), with the participation of two groups of students of the II Cycle: the Control group (CG) consituted by those of the professional career of Architecture that make use of the traditional method in teaching and learning, and the Experimental group (GE) consituted by those of the career of Civil Engineering that apply the SAMI in their learning. The observation variables are the "attitudes" whose dimensions are "attention" and "interactivity", and the "Learning Achievements" defined by "knowledge", "understanding" and "application" according to Benjamin Bloom's taxonomy of learning objectives. The results show that both attitudes and performance are stationary in the control group, while they are highly significant in the experimental group, even though the correlations between the two variables do not indicate relevance. Therefore, it is highlighted that the application of SAMI in teaching and learning is ideal for the promotion and improvement of learning both in the aspect of attitudes and academic performance. Consequently, the incorporation of SAMI in the academic management of the university through teacher training in its use is a priority.
