The general objective of the research entitled "Management skills and organizational development in the Bajo Mayo Tarapoto Territorial Management, year 2019" was to establish the relationship between management skills and organizational development in the Bajo Mayo Tarapoto Territorial Management, year 2019. The type of study was applied; the research design was non-experimental: likewise, the research had a study sample of 78 collaborators of the institution, which were used as data collection surveys for both variables, which were applied to what the sample stipulates. The following conclusion was reached after applying the Pearson test: the relationship between both variables was evidenced, since the "p" value (significance value = 0.00) obtained is less than 0.05. Likewise, since the "r" value is 0.724, it indicates a significant correlation, so the research hypothesis is accepted: “There is a significant relationship between management skills and organizational development in the Bajo-Mayo Tarapoto territorial management, year 2019, on the other hand, regarding the management skills variable, 53% of the respondents indicated that their management skills are at a poor level, while the results obtained for the organizational development variable, 50% of the respondents indicated that their organizational development variable is at a medium level.
