The objective of the research work was to prove that the sexual education program improves the knowledge about sexuality in adolescents of an Educational Institution - Moyobamba, it was an applied research, with a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design. The techniques used were: experimentation, observation and data analysis, the instrument worked with a population and sample of 46 students, to whom a sexuality test of 40 questions was applied, 10 questions for each dimension; the instrument was subjected to validity by expert judgment and reliability by pilot test (0.97). The analysis of the results showed that: Before applying the sexuality education program there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test, it is observed that there is an increase of 20.8% of students who are in the outstanding sexuality level, likewise 25% who have developed sexuality. From the results and inferential values shown from the evaluation, the degree of statistical significance p=0.043 is less than α 0.05 which means rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the alternate hypothesis. The program "Sex Education" improves the sexual knowledge of adolescents in an Educational Institution - Moyobamba. This leads to the affirmation that the strategies used in the program are successful in improving the students' knowledge about sexuality, so that they can have true knowledge about sexuality, which will help in future decision making.
