Design efficiency and hydraulic simulation with Watercad of the drinking water distribution network of the Nuevo Habana Pro-housing Association The present academic effort entitled " Design efficiency and hydraulic simulation with Watercad of the drinking water distribution network of the Nuevo Habana Pro-housing Association", was carried out taking into account the water service needs of the Nuevo Habana Pro-housing Association in the District of Habana. In this sense, hydraulic calculations were made and the simulation of the proposed system was carried out in static and extended periods in order to compare it with the Peruvian regulations in force. Information was requested from the District Municipality of Habana regarding population data, pressures, flows and networks closest to the Association; subsequently, a visit was made to the sector under study to learn about the topographic relief of the area, with which the basic information was completed in order to transform the collected data. Finally, comparing with OS. 050 "Water distribution networks for human consumption" of the National Building Regulations, favorable pressures, velocities and pipe diameters were obtained both in the static period simulation and in the extended period simulation. Therefore, the application of the proposed system would be efficient and favorable for the normal supply of the Association.
