The present study allows us to know a maturity model which helps make the digital transformation process safer, allowing us to know that the means related to cybersecurity applied in the local governments of Metropolitan Lima achieve their purpose. In this sense, the general objective was to implement a maturity model that identifies the level of compliance with cybersecurity standards in the digitalization processes in local governments of metropolitan Lima. The search for information was planned in scientific sources such as: Scopus, Web of Science and IEEE Xplore, and that of local government officials, with knowledge of the reality of the digitalization process, digital transformation, in an applied maturity model. to the administrative procedure of your municipality. Considering that, the objective of ensuring the confidentiality, availability and integrity of the information in its digital format where security gaps are reduced; The results obtained as a result of the application of the proposed model have the resulting maturity level indicator as a value of 2.14, which is far from the proposed indicator of 3, evidencing the existence of a distancing gap of 28.7%. It was concluded that, in local governments, there are cybersecurity maturity models that can be adapted according to their needs. However, there are efforts and concerns in limited compliance with the domains of the maturity model, basically they are in an early stage of being able to strengthen cybersecurity measures and controls.
