International freight agencies faced challenges due to the lack of a real-time monitoring system for shipping orders. This absence hindered communication and generated frustration for both clients (importers and exporters), who had to wait for updates on the status of their orders, and for agency staff, who faced an additional workload. To address this, a web-based monitoring system was implemented, allowing clients to check the status of their orders in real time, download documents, and review their debt status, thereby improving transparency and service efficiency. The system was designed to integrate with the internal software that international freight agencies were already using, ensuring continuous data synchronization. It was developed using a layered architecture in .NET C# and SQL Server, efficiently organizing and managing data, while the use of HTTPS protects sensitive information during transmission. User testing confirmed the system's success, achieving over 70% optimization in response times and reducing the need for intermediaries in communication. Clients now have direct access to information, enhancing their experience and giving them greater control over their shipments. Additionally, the system has alleviated the operational burden on staff, facilitating faster and more satisfactory service, thus meeting the objectives of transparency and efficiency in the logistics process.
