Currently, the modern construction industry faces the challenge of adopting more efficient methodologies that promote a more productive and precise structural design and analysis process. This research is framed within the optimization of seismic-resistant structural analysis for educational sector buildings, based on the technical dossier of I.E S.0.1 Carlos Teodoro Puell Mendoza, located in Tumbes. The main objective is to evaluate the interoperability between software used in the BIM methodology and structural analysis programs, specifically Revit and ETABS, through the use of the CSIxRevit2023.1.0 plugin. The conducted research, which is of an applied and descriptive nature, began with the review of the technical dossier to develop information models for the structural specialty in Revit software. Subsequently, the analytical model was exported through an add-in and imported into ETABS software, allowing for seismic resistant structural analysis to be performed using the interoperable data. Likewise, the results demonstrate that the implementation of the CSIxRevit plugin represents a significant advancement in the integration of BIM and structural tools, reducing time, costs, and errors in the design process. It was proven that the interoperability between Revit and ETABS, through CSIxRevit, is efficient and facilitates a continuous workflow among multidisciplinary teams. Furthermore, this integration not only enhances the design and construction phases but also adds value in the operational and maintenance stages of buildings, enabling more effective project life cycle management
