agregándole como aditivo la ceniza de cáscara de arroz en diferentes porcentajes;
This thesis analyzes the resistance of traditional adobe and improved adobe by adding rice husk ash as an additive in different percentages; in the development of the thesis, 6 adobe units were made for each sample prototype to be evaluated, with the three percentages of rice husk ash, making a total of 42 adobes. The first sample is a traditional adobe (earth and straw), the second sample is an adobe of earth + straw + 4%, 8% and 11% rice husk ash, and the third sample is an adobe of earth + 4%, 8% and 11% rice husk ash. These samples were tested to determine the increase in their compressive strength; the results showed that the addition of rice husk ash to the traditional adobe significantly improves its strength. Our hypothesis is valid and assertive. Likewise, it was observed that in the soil + straw + 4%, 8% and 11% rice husk ash samples, the higher the amount of rice husk ash, the lower the resistance. On the other hand, the sample of soil + 4%, 8% and 11% rice husk ash, the higher the amount of ash, the higher its resistance. It is concluded that the addition of rice husk ash to traditional adobe increases its strength and durability. These results are useful for the construction of sustainable housing and structures, taking advantage of available resources and reducing environmental impact
