This thesis, titled ""Application of the Carta Balance Tool to Increase the Productivity of the Construction Process at Indoamérica Kindergarten, District of Víctor Larco,"" aims to implement the Balance Chart Management Tool to boost productivity in the construction of Indoamérica Kindergarten. The objective is not only to gain benefits from this specific project but also to serve as a model for other construction projects that seek to optimize productivity by reducing production variables, following the principles of Lean Construction philosophy. The central question of this research is: Will applying the Balance Chart Tool increase the Productivity of the Construction Process at Indoamérica Kindergarten, District of Víctor Larco? This research is classified as Applied, with a Pre-Experimental Longitudinal design, and falls under the category of Applied Research. Techniques such as Non Participatory Observation and Textual Records were used. During its development, the ninety sub-tasks of the project were identified and grouped, following the time recommendations by the Balance Chart (minimum 60 minutes). The actions and responsibilities of the personnel were analyzed, and following CAPECO’s recommendations, three preliminary measurements of Productive Work (PW), Contributory Work (CW), and Non-Contributory Work (NCW) were conducted for each sub-task to establish the traditional productivity. Subsequently, strategies were applied to mitigate the NCW, and four additional measurements were carried out to determine the new productivity. Averages of the Diagnosis and Evolution of PW, CW, and NCW were calculated for each sub-task, both individually and grouped by specialty and for the entire project. The results showed a productivity improvement of nearly 20% in the construction of the kindergarten, supported by Hypothesis Testing with a 99% confidence level. These results met the expectations, and it is recommended to apply the Balance Chart Tool in other construction projects due to its demonstrated effectiveness.
