This thesis addresses the development of a hybrid methodology for managing retail infrastructure projects at G&G Arquitectos, a company with 30 years of experience in the sector. Despite its solid track record, the company faces significant challenges in project management, such as cost overruns, delayed timelines, and lack of standardization in its processes. The research focuses on the deficiencies identified in projects conducted between 2021 and 2022, including inadequate documentation, poor planning, and deficiencies in risk and communication management. The main objective is to develop a hybrid work methodology that combines predictive and agile approaches to enhance project performance. This methodology aims to integrate predictive practices in the initiation, planning, and closing phases, while employing the agile approach, specifically Scrum, during the execution phase. To achieve this, current processes will be analyzed, standardized procedures will be developed, and the impact of various knowledge areas on project success will be assessed. The justification for this work lies in the need to formalize and optimize project management to reduce budget deviations and delays, thereby improving profitability and customer satisfaction. The scope of the study is limited to retail infrastructure projects and focuses on implementing an agile framework during the execution phase. Expected outcomes include improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of project management at G&G Arquitectos.
