The final report presents the investigation called “Determination of the level of noise pollution due to vehicular traffic and the perception of the population in the district of San Juan Bautista, Loreto – 2021”, which had as its main objective to evaluate the level of noise pollution due to vehicular traffic and the perception of the population of the San Juan Bautista district. As well as the specific objectives of determining the level of noise pollution generated by vehicular traffic and identifying the perception of the human population due to noise pollution in the district of San Juan Bautista. The methodology applied was a cross-sectional explanatory descriptive type and design. The research method was analysis and interpretation, hypothetical-deductive of a quantitative and qualitative nature to contrast the research hypotheses, the noise pollution test was used at the fifteen points distributed throughout the district. A Type 2 sound level meter, TENMARS model TM-103, was used. At each of the 15 monitoring points, the frequency of vehicles (vehicle/hours) was evaluated, obtaining records for each data measurement period. Vehicles will be classified into light vehicles (motorcycles, motorbikes, vans, cars) and heavy vehicles (combuses, buses, trucks, tractors, etc.). During the execution process, fifteen points were recorded and evaluated, resulting in their totality exceeding the ECAs of Supreme Decree No. 085-2003PCM, determining and concluding that there is a high noise pollution emitted by vehicular traffic in the area. district of San Juan Bautista. We can also mention that through the survey it has been determined that the population has the perception that there is noise pollution caused by vehicles, also indicating the need to implement a contingency plan that helps control or reduce this problem.
