ABSTRACT the VII cycle of Social Work - National University of Trujillo. Freedom. 2021, was carried out with the purpose of knowing the family coexistence of social work students in times of the COVID-19 pandemic, which, like all families in the country, went through certain changes to adapt to the stipulations of the state and the same society in order to avoid infections and deaths. The research is descriptive and we worked with 48 university students in the professional career of Social Work. Quantitative research techniques and methods, statistical methods, survey and interview techniques were applied. The results show the presence of aggressive and passive communication in family coexistence. Furthermore, in the resolution of conflicts that is part of the dynamics of family coexistence, interesting data was obtained regarding psychological and emotional violence. It is important to specify that it is not that there is no physical or economic violence, appearing in a lower percentage in the results of the questionnaire. All families went through events resulting from the pandemic, but the way they processed the situations is reflected in the way they communicate and resolve conflicts, generally resulting in healthy family coexistence.
