The main objective of the study was to improve the drilling and blasting parameters to increase the linear advance in GL_642-S of Section VII – Minera Yauliyacu, 2024. The methodological approach was quantitative, applied type and pre-experimental design, where the total population was taken as the shots made in the horizontal advance fronts of 3.5 m x 3.5 m of section VII and the sample was 30 shots made in the GL_641- S. According to the results obtained, it was possible to improve the P&V parameters as well as an increase of 12.06% in the linear advance of the GL_641-S, going from 3.04 m to 3.41 m, it was possible to reduce the F.C.L. from 44.17 Kg / m to 39.29 kg, the F.C. from 3.29 Kg / m3 to 3.02 Kg / m3 and the F.P. from 1.17 Kg/ton to 1.08 Kg/ton, which represents a reduction of 11.0%, 8.2% and 7.7% respectively. In addition, the XGBoost algorithm was applied to validate the increase in linear feed per shot with the improvement of P&V parameters. It is concluded that with the improvement of P&V parameters, it was possible to increase the average linear advance per shot, as well as the reduction of the blasting factors of section VII.
