The general objective of this study was to determine if there is a relationship between the quality of care and patient satisfaction in face-to-face dental consultations at the Otuzco 2022 hospital. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The method used was observation, the design was descriptive of connections and cross section, the population was 292 patients and the sample was obtained by simple random sample, resulting in 209 patients who attended the dental office. The tool used for data collection was a questionnaire that was administered to all patients who attended face-to-face consultations. Results: We can show that according to the sociodemographic characteristics of the patients who attended the dental office, 74.16% are adults; 54.55% belong to the female gender; patients with primary education level are the ones who attended the consultation the most with 52.15%; 92.82% have SIS; and 95.22% are continuing patients; the level of quality of patient care in the face-to-face dental consultation is 84.69%, which gives us a medium level and the level of patient satisfaction in the face-to-face dental consultation is 83.25%, being a medium level. CONCLUSION: Using the Student's T test (Spearman's coefficient), there was a correlation between quality of care and patient satisfaction at the 5% significance level. p=0.000. The female sex is the gender that frequents face-to-face dental consultations, the highest proportion of patients who consult are adults between 30 and 59 years of age, the primary level of study is the majority of patients who consult, the largest number of patients have insurance SIS type, of which the highest percentage of patients are continuators. The quality of care and patient satisfaction in face-to-face consultations was medium level.
