ABSTRACT The present research was conducted in the experimental field of the National University of Trujillo Santiago de Chuco branch, at an approximate altitude of 3101 meters above sea level, with the objective of evaluating the effect of three doses of biol on the performance of Allium fistulosum L. var . Blancas Eberzer. The treatments consisted of 0, 500, 1000 and 1500 l.ha-1 of biol for treatments T0, T1, T2 and T3 respectively. The experiment was conducted under field conditions in a DBCA design. The variables under study were: plant height, leaf length, number of leaves per bulbil, number of bulbils per plant, bulb diameter and yield per hectare; obtaining positive effects of biol treatments on the yield of Chinese onion, with treatment T3 being the one that presented the best result for the variables number of leaves per bulb with 8 units, bulb diameter with 21.95 mm and yield per hectare with 29 046.88 Kg.ha-1. The research results were analyzed at 95% reliability by performing the analysis of variance and the Tuckey test. It was concluded that the biol at a dose of 1500 l.ha-1 (T3) presented the best effects on the yield of Chinese onion.
