ABSTRACT Blueberry cultivation in our country has shown a notable increase in production during the last five years. In this context, as the productive surface of the crop increases, the development of new pests and diseases are adapting to the climatic conditions of our country. For this reason, phytosanitary management is necessary that includes monitoring in the field the incidence of the main pests such as Heliothis viresences, Spodoptera frugiperda, Planoccocus citri, Pseudococcus longispinus and diseases such as Botrytis cinerea, Rust and Oidiosis that affect the development of the crop. blueberry in the Virú area, affecting its final yield. The population dynamics of pests and the development of diseases observed during the 2022-2023 campaigns conclude that climate plays a fundamental role in their incidence. Taking into account the aforementioned, the document aims to describe the control implemented in the fields, which includes cultural, ethological, biological control strategies and, in the case of conventional cultivation, chemical control. When the latter is carried out properly, it is possible that the incidence of infestation in the field is minimal and does not cause economic damage to the crop.
