Abstract: El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó en los campos de los agricultores que siembran como cultivo principal la cebolla, ubicados en el centro poblado de Talambo, Región La Libertad. El objetivo fue: Conocer el control químico de Peronospora destructor Berk en Allium cepa L. en Chepén, La Libertad. Los parámetros evaluados fueron: Fungicidas agrícolas que utilizan, dosis de aplicación, momento de aplicación, frecuencia de aplicación, forma de preparación de fungicidas agrícola, costos del control químico, entre otros, dichos datos fueron obtenidos mediante la aplicación de encuestas. Se concluye que los agricultores del centro poblado de Chepén de la provincia de Chepén, cada campaña utilizan con mayor frecuencia los ingrediente activos como Mancozeb+Benalaxyl, además que incrementan el número de aplicaciones de fungicidas, incrementan las dosis de aplicación, aumentan los costos de control y costos de producción. Dentro de los principales ingredientes activos más utilizados son el Mancozeb+Benalaxyl, Mancozeb+ Metalaxyl.
ABSTRACT The present research work was carried out in the fields of the farmers who plant the onion as the main crop, located in the town of Talambo, La Libertad Region. The objective was: To know the chemical control of Peronospora destructor Berk in Allium cepa L. in Chepén, La Libertad. The evaluated parameters were: Agricultural fungicides that use, dose of application, moment of application, frequency of application, form of preparation of agricultural fungicides, costs of the chemical control, among others, said data were obtained through the application of surveys. It is concluded that the farmers of the Chepén town center of the Chepén province, each season use more frequently the active ingredients such as Mancozeb + Benalaxyl, in addition that increase the number of applications of fungicides, increase the application doses, increase the costs of control and production costs.
