The description and abundance of zooplankton in zones of the marine ecosystem of Cerro Negro and El Brujo, was determined in July to December of 2017. Five profiles were established with three stations for Cerro Negro, the samples were collected, using a red of 300 μ, being preserved with 4% formaldehyde. Physical parameters were taken (Temperature (° C), Salinity (ups)) and chemical parameters (Dissolved oxygen (mL / l), pH). The composition, density, frequency of occurrence and ecological indexes of Shannon - Wiener (H ') and Dominance of Simpson (1 - λ') were determined. 80 and 86 species were reported in the areas of Cerro Negro and El Brujo respectively, distributed in the Phylum Foraminifera, Arthropoda, Chordata, Annelida, Mollusca, Brachiopoda, Briozoa, Chaetognatha, Cnidaria, Ctenophora and Phoronida in both zones, being the Bolivina sp. species, the most frequent and abundant. The zooplankton density density was presented in the month of August with 23 259 ind / m ^ 3 in El Brujo, and in September with 10 047 ind / m ^ 3 in Cerro Negro. The greatest diversity was presented in Cerro Negro in the month of July with 2,82 bits / ind. and El Brujo in the month of July with 2,20 bits/ind.
