The objective of the research is to determine the incidence of corruption, inequality and education on the economic growth of Peru. The research carried out according to its scope is correlational, non-experimental and longitudinal. The working hypothesis is based on the Vaal and Ebben (2011) model, which postulates that the direct effects of corruption on economic growth are in line with the conventional treatment of corruption as a negative distortion. To test the hypothesis, the statistical information of the study variables by region was used, with annual data covering the period 2005-2020, obtained from the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics of Peru and the World Bank. Using a panel data regression model, the hypothesis is corroborated, finding an inverse and significant relationship between corruption and economic growth.
