The present research work was carried out in the district of Simbal, province of Trujillo, department of La Libertad, where the comparative analysis of cost and time was carried out with the optimized, traditional and flexible slab pavement designs, for which a non-experimental study, cross-sectional and descriptive design; where three populations represented by the types of design mentioned were evaluated, traffic studies, soil mechanics and topography were also carried out to obtain data, for the analysis of the data the descriptive statistical technique was used, the problem is that throughout Over the years it has traditionally been used paved with flexible pavement; that over the years, as well as the traffic of circulating vehicles, its useful life has decreased, generating failures in the rolling surface, causing the cost of the useful life of the pavement to increase, on the other hand in Trujillo and Peru concrete pavement is not widely used, much less the new methodologies that are developed based on it, such as the optimized tile technique in which there are few professionals specialized in this field, it was obtained that for a design period of 20 years . , the structure designed with optimized concrete slabs presents important cost advantages over traditional rigid concrete and asphalt pavements, reaching an estimated value through a life cycle cost analysis of S/ 1,937,892.54, S/ 2,038,850.15 and S/ 2,404,112.99 ; In relation to the expected time using the critical path method, the relationship is between 90, 80 and 49 calendar days and using the program evaluation and review technique, a time of 102, 95 and 51 calendar days was estimated respectively. From the comparative analysis, it was concluded that the design with optimized slabs presents lower costs for an analysis period of 20 years and a non-significant construction time compared to the other methodologies.
