ABSTRACT The present thesis consists of the forensic anthropological analysis of 25 cases belonging to the Medical Legal Unit II of Moyobamba, some in a skeletonized state and others preserving their soft tissue, both worked in a necropsy room, this research is oriented within what It concerns Physical and Forensic Anthropology, in which procedures and methods that are standardized and approved by the scientific community were used, regarding the analysis of the mechanisms of production of bone fractures, the fractures were identified and classified. bones by pattern, all from a macroscopic study, in order to establish how the bone remains are approached in a context of criminality, since this already goes beyond the reconstruction of the bioanthropological profile that is essential in an anthropological study, it is also It is necessary to understand what type of fracture mechanisms are associated with a common crime context and identify what patterns are reflected in skeletonized remains, so the result allows us to establish in what context the fractures originated and if they caused death. Likewise, it was concluded that physical and forensic anthropology, today, is of utmost importance in our country where violence and crime is increasing, death and its different forms, reflected in the bodies, are part of the Problems that the forensic anthropologist faces when dealing with these cases, anthropological science today helps the administration of justice and the clarification of the facts.
