The Andean-Amazonian communities throughout their history have made a correct and effective use of the resources that nature lavished; resources that by domesticating them have become true contributions of Peru to humanity. In response to this situation, this research was aimed at determining the importance of flora in the life of the inhabitant of the community of Cuspón, Chiquián, Bolognesi, Ancash, Peru, 2018-2020; using the census technique and applying 150 semi-structured interviews, to gather information regarding: taxonomy, common names, habit or size, habitat, form of propagation, part used and the ethnobotanical use that served to determine the Cultural Index (CI). The Cuspón community uses 72 species of plants distributed in 62 genera and 32 families for its most diverse needs.
