The purpose of the research was to determine the correlation of glutamine with the third and fourth doses against COVID-19 in soldiers of the 32nd Infantry Brigade-Trujillo-La Libertad. 63 soldiers vaccinated against COVID-19 participated (43 with the third dose and 20 with the fourth dose), the sociodemographic data (age and sex) and the anthropometric data body mass index were identified. Glutamine concentration was quantified from blood plasma using liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry. It was found that the majority of soldiers vaccinated with the third dose were male (81.4%), the majority age was 20 years (37.2%), and the body mass index was 23 kg/m2 (30 ,2. 3%). The soldiers vaccinated with the fourth dose were mostly male (80%), the majority age was 21 years (55%), and the BMI with the highest percentage is 24 Kg/m2. The distribution of sociodemographic (age), anthropometric (body mass index) and glutamine concentration variables was determined with central tendency parameters such as mean, standard deviation and interquartile ranges. Sociodemographic and anthropometric data had no direct correlation with glutamine concentration except for BMI with a correlation factor of 0.533 with a p<0.05 with the fourth dose. When comparing the glutamine concentration and their third and fourth dose vaccination schedule, a Spearman factor of 0.009 and -0.30 respectively was obtained from the soldiers of the 32nd Infantry Brigade COVID-19 of the third and fourth dose soldiers.
