ABSTRACT Water is essential for life and the development of people's activities. It is currently worrisome that in some places of our country access to water and quality are limited. In the town of El Tizal, district of Chao; there is the difficulty of access to drinking water, that is the reason why some of its habitants are supplied with water from the Chorobal River, either for the irrigation of their crops and even in some cases for their consumption. In the present investigation "Analysis and interpretation of water quality indicators of the Chorobal river In The CCPP El Tizal.Chao. Viru. La Libertad ", the analysis of water quality indicators was carried out to determine if they meet the parameters established in the Peruvian regulations on water quality for irrigation, which is contained in Supreme Decree N ° 004-2017-MINAM. In the town of El Tizal, water monitoring was carried out, weekly samples were taken, analyzed and interpreted in order to determine whether the water they use is adequate for the irrigation of their crops and their consumption. In this investigation, physicochemical parameters, nitrate content, chlorides, alkalinity and hardness were analyzed, which it was concluded that water from the Chorobal River is not adequate for the inhabitants to use it for the irrigation of their crops and their daily consumption. In this way, is proved that as this town , perhaps many others go thorugh the same situation and that in a long term, will be damaging for their health.
