In this research work, the effect of agroindustrial waste was evaluated: Saccharum officinalis bagasse, Zea mayz crown and Oryza sativa husk, as substrates in the production of Trichoderma harzianum spores, by fermentation in solid substrate. We worked with four substrates, the control, consisting of O. sativa whole grains and the three mentioned agroindustrial waste; the latter were pretreated with 2,4% NaOH and enriched with a salt solution to the four substrates, then sterilized and T. harzianum was inoculated at a concentration of 2 x 107 spores mL-1, was incubated at 22 ± 2ºC for 7 days and, each day, on the four substrates, the spores were counted until the end of the incubation time. Rice favored the production of spores by T. harzianum, with an average value of 8,99 x 108 spores g-1 and, among the three substrates evaluated, the highest average concentration was obtained in sugarcane bagasse (2,28 x 107 spores g-1), followed by the corn crown (2,09 x 107 spores g-1) and the rice husk (1,35 x 107 spores g-1). Spore production was achieved in the bagasse of S. officinalis, in the crown of Z. mayz and in the husk of O. sativa, however, there was only a significant statistical difference between the control and the three substrates evaluated (P < 0,05), but not, between the substrates (P > 0,05).
