Bioethanol is extracted from the biomass of a group of microalgae grown in wastewater, known as the microalgae consortium, where it was adapted and cultivated in domestic wastewater for thirty days, in 7-liter closed reactors, determining the microalgae profile. in a spectrophotometer determined the optical density at 680 nm, it was harvested by sedimentation - centrifugation, to obtain a biomass in dry weight (1.05 gr/L). The cell excision of the dry biomass, by acid treatment at 2, 4 and 6% H2SO4, autoclaved at 120 °C for a time of 30, 60 and 90 min, the content of reducing sugars was determined by the acid colorimetric method. 3,5-dinitrosalicylic (DNS) at 540 nm, reducing sugars (1344, 1379 and 1406 mg/L of glucose) were obtained for a hydrolysis of 6% H2SO4 and time of 30, 60 and 90 minutes, this shows that in Under these conditions, fermentable reducing sugars were obtained. Obtaining bioethanol was carried out via fermentation of reducing sugars with Saccharomyces cerevisiae to optimize fermentation time, evaluations were carried out at 24, 48, 72, 96 and 120 hours. Bioethanol was obtained for a conversion of reducing sugars (947 mg/L and 932 mg/L of glucose) fermentable with Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast with a fermentation time of 48 hours, bioethanol yields per mg of fermented glucose of 93.54 and 92.98 %. (mg of ethanol/mg of glucose x 0.511) and bioethanol yields per mg of microalgal biomass of 8.67 and 8.48 %.
