In this research, experimental tests were carried out to evaluate the influence of the diameter of the apex and vortex of the D-26 hydrocyclone in the concentrator plant of Compañía Minera Lincuna SAC, the experimental tests were carried out with different sizes of apex and vortex to carry out the balances. . of mass of the D-26 hydrocyclone, in order to evaluate at what size of apex and vortex we obtain the lowest passing percentage of mesh #200 in the overflow, the study was carried out with the following apex sizes, 2.5", 2.75" and 3.0" and vortex sizes, 4.5", 5", and 6", currently the D-26 hydrocyclone has an apex diameter of 2.75" and a vortex diameter of 5", for this evaluation, pulp, feed, overflow discharge and discharge sampling were carried out. of underflow, for the granulometric and balance analyzes respectively. The results show us that when the D-26 hydrocyclone operates with an apex size of 2.5 inches and a vortex of 6 inches, a passing percentage of fines in the overflow of 53.43% #200 mesh is obtained. Likewise, it is concluded that the size of the apex and vortex significantly influences the passing percentage of the #200 mesh of the D-26 hydrocyclone of the overflow, which affirms the data that were obtained through statistical analysis with a confidence level of 95%, demonstrating that The present research studied is reliable.
