ABSTRACT The present research work, entitled Influence of Floriculture on the material well-being of the families of the town center of Cochapampa - Carhuaz 2023. Its purpose is to explain how the economic activity of Floriculture influences to a high degree to satisfy the material well-being of the families. families of said reality, for which research instruments such as the field notebook, camera, recorder, interview and observation sheets were used. Likewise, techniques such as observation, documentary collection, in-depth and structured interviews were crucial to delve into the thinking and feelings of the heads of families in said environment. Floriculture is an activity that generates favorable income, however, it requires investment and technical assistance to be fully strengthened, the knowledge that the families of the town center of Cochapampa have regarding this work is limited, a system of technical irrigation, as opposed to what is seen as an artisanal irrigation system, however we recognize that the export of roses only at the local level has become the economic activity with the highest employability index. On the other hand, the reality of Cochapampa is immersed in the diversification of economic activities, families do not take the risk of dedicating themselves to a single work activity, therefore we have secondary and temporary activities such as potato cultivation, temporary jobs. salaried workers, local transportation, among others.
