Wetlands are vulnerable ecosystems that have experienced a degradation problem, such is the case of the La Bocana wetland located in the northern area of the district of San José, Lambayeque-Peru, which houses a great biodiversity of flora and fauna, however it has a degradation problem due mainly to anthropic factors and the deficit of public management and, in this sense, the present research is of a fundamental type, with a qualitative approach and an explanatory-causal level of research. The research begins with the identification of the current state of the wetlands of the San José district, recognizing their potential and threats, in which the topographic parameters are identified where the altitudinal variation is from 1 to 13 m.s.n.m. allowing the formation of the soil of the wetlands, in addition to the hydrographic parameters, where it is shown that the different landscapes in the wetland are generated according to the temporalities of the year, as for the second stage of the research, the main factors that influence the degradation of the wetland were evaluated. wetland landscape, where it was determined that the subdivision in the natural area and the accumulation of waste are part of the degradation of the landscape in this ecosystem, finally the intervention criteria were determined that allow the recovery and activation of natural tourism of the wetland. Bocana, based on three aspects, the nature reserve, tourism and agriculture, where it seeks to guarantee that urban-tourism proposals are environmentally responsible and socially inclusive of nature.
