The objective of this work of professional sufficiency is to solve the problem presented by the Club Lawn de la Exposición in Lima, Peru, which needs to reduce its operating costs and diversify its income to improve its financial situation as well as its competitiveness in the market. For this purpose, a bibliographic review of different sources that analyze similar problems has been carried out to develop a cost reduction and revenue diversification strategy plan for the Lawn Tennis Club. Thus, the Activity-Based Costing (ABC) model is used, as well as the Lean methodology, specifically the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) models, integrated to a strategic marketing plan. After the analysis of the club’s organizational structure, as well as its current financial situation, these models are identified as the most appropriate to solve the problem. With these results, it is concluded that the application of these methodologies and tools would help the Lawn Tennis Club to optimize its operating costs, reducing those activities that do not produce value while at the same time diversifying its sources of income by increasing the incorporation of new members and strengthening the relationships with its members. It is also expected that this work will serve as a point of reference for the future application of process optimization strategies in non-profit sports organizations.
