A fertilization system implemented in a pivot irrigation is a technology that integrates the application of fertilizers into the agricultural irrigation process. This system allows nutrients to be distributed accurately and efficiently directly in the field as the pivot moves water across the plots. Through the incorporation of injectors or dosing systems, water-soluble fertilizers are dissolved and applied to the irrigation water, optimizing the use of inputs and improving nutrient uptake by the plants. Additionally, this type of system favors the customization of applications based on the specific needs of each crop, which improves yield and reduces environmental impact by minimizing nutrient loss and limiting over-fertilization. The system can be automated to adjust fertilizer doses based on variables such as soil type, crop growth stage, and weather conditions, allowing for more precise and efficient resource management. The aim of this report is the development and implementation of a fertigation system in the city of Olmos, as well as demonstrating the criteria used to select the parameters for each piece of equipment, such as connections for the design. Additionally, the final prototype automation was simulated with electric valves and a supply system through silos.
