Laser cutting machines, especially CO2 lasers, have radically transformed efficiency in industrial production. These machines give numerous benefits, such as cutting speed, availability of spare parts, a great precision with minimal error margins, and a safe, reliable operating environment. Despite these advantages, a critical obstacle arises in the production process: the precise calibration of the laser beam. According to observations and experiences shared by Engineer Lara Quispe, responsible for the maintenance of a CO2 laser machine, manual calibration to adjust the laser head height and correct the misalignment of the deflection mirrors leads to significant delays in operations. This issue affects the precision of cuts and engravings, resulting in a decrease in the final quality of the manufactured products. This challenge during the cutting phase requires urgent attention to improve both productivity and excellence in the final manufacturing process.
