A descriptive, observational, correlational study was developed in which the knowledge about healthy eating and the degree of relationship with the socio-demographic and obstetric characteristics of the pregnant women who attend the C.S. of October 9 cross-sectional and prospective Results: The study involved 122 pregnant women who were treated at the C.S 9 de Octubre in the period from June to September 2021. 94.2% had adequate knowledge about healthy eating, finding that X 2 = 1.61 and P = 3.84, accepting the H1. According to the relationship of the level of knowledge with the Sociodemographic characteristics: 35.83% who were between the ages of 21 and 30, answered appropriately, in relation to knowledge about healthy eating, finding that X2 = 7.05, P = 7.8, accepting the H1. 45.83% had secondary school and answered appropriately, in relation to knowledge about healthy eating, finding that X2= 8.59, P= 9.48, accepting H1. 88.30% were of cohabiting marital status, and answered appropriately in relation to knowledge about healthy eating, finding that X2. 0.12, P= 5.99. accepting the H1. 91.6% of pregnant women were of marginal urban origin and did not answer adequately in relation to knowledge about healthy eating, finding that X2= 8.82, P = 3.84, accepting H1. 77.3% were housewives and answered appropriately in relation to knowledge about healthy eating, finding that X2=9.20, P=14.06. accepting the H1. According to the relationship of the Level of Knowledge with the Obstetric characteristics: It was found that 56.67% who had a gestational age of 29 to 36 s answered appropriately, in relation to knowledge about healthy eating, finding that X2 = 2.19, P = 5.99, accepting the H1. 59.17% were multiparous and answered appropriately in relation to knowledge about healthy eating, finding that X2= 4.45, P= 3.84, accepting H1. 42% of pregnant women who had 4 to 5 NPCs answered appropriately in relation to knowledge about healthy eating, finding that X2. 3.18, P= 5.99. xiii accepting the H1. 28.31% of pregnant women who had a weight of 50 Kg at the beginning and 60 Kg at the end of pregnancy with a weight gain of 10 Kg and answered appropriately in relation to knowledge about healthy eating, finding that X2= 11.99, P=14.06. accepting the H1. Conclusion: The level of knowledge about healthy eating in pregnant women attended in the c.s October 9 is adequate and there is a significant relationship between the variables, finding that X2= 1.61 and P=3.84, accepting H1
