The objective was to determine the relationship that exists between the conditional factors and the self-care capacity of residents in two therapeutic communities in Loreto, 2022. Methodology: Quantitative, descriptive, crosssectional, prospective, correlational, has 70 residents, survey technique, questionnaire instrument for conditional factors and the self-care capacity assessment scale. Result: 44.3% of the residents were between 18 and 27 years old, 100% male, 34.3% illiterate, 65.7% unemployed, 55.7% urban, 44.3% single, 51.4% without children, 45.7% occasionally perform physical activity, 100% with SIS, 72.9% have other comorbidities, 100% without income, 45.7% stay in the community from 0 to 5 months and 6 at 12 months, 71.4% drug addiction, 92.9% Catholic, 82.9% family support network. 62.9% self-care capacity is high. In the dimensions: functioning and personal development, activity, repose, and 82.9% social interaction is low. When relating the variables using the Chi-square test, it was found that age, level of education, occupation, place of residence, marital status, number of children, religion and support networks was higher than a= 0.05 and physical activity, comorbidity, length of stay in the community and type of addiction was less than a=0.05. Conclusion: There is a statistically significant relationship between the conditional factors: physical activity, comorbidity, time spent in the community, type of action and the self-care capacity of residents in two Loreto therapeutic communities (p=<0.05).
