Inteligencia emocional en alumnos del sexto grado de primaria de dos instituciones educativas, ciudad de Iquitos, 2023

Abstract

La presente investigación tiene como finalidad comparar los niveles de inteligencia emocional en alumnos del sexto grado de primaria de dos Instituciones Educativas, ciudad de Iquitos, 2023. Estudio con enfoque cuantitativo, descriptivo comparativo, diseño no experimental e hipotético deductivo, integró una población de 106 alumnos de la Institución Simón Bolívar y 75 de Fernando Lores Tenazoa, siendo en total 181 alumnos. Utilizó el inventario emocional de Baron de Reuven Bar – On. Se analizó la información con el software SPSS v25, alcanzando los siguientes resultados: la I.E. Simón Bolívar, el 72,2% de los alumnos tuvieron nivel adecuado, 16,9% por mejorar y el 3,9% mostraron inteligencia muy desarrollada. I.E. Fernando Lores Tenazoa, la mayoría de los alumnos mostraron inteligencia emocional moderada, 11,7% por mejorar y el 1,7% muy desarrollada. Concluye: No evidencia diferencias significativas al comparar los niveles de inteligencia emocional (t = 0,900; p=0,882).

The purpose of this research is to compare the levels of emotional intelligence in sixth grade primary school students from two Educational Institutions, city of Iquitos, 2023. Study with a quantitative, descriptive-comparative approach, non- experimental and hypothetical-deductive design, integrated a population of 106 students from the Simón Bolívar Institution and 75 from Fernando Lores Tenazoa, with a total of 181 students. He used the emotional inventory of Baron de Reuven Bar – On. The information was analyzed with SPSS v25 software, achieving the following results: the I.E. Simón Bolívar, 72.2% of the students had an adequate level, 16.9% needed improvement and 3.9% showed highly developed intelligence. I.E. Fernando Lores Tenazoa, the majority of students showed moderate emotional intelligence, 11.7% to improve and 1.7% highly developed. Concludes: There are no significant differences when comparing the levels of emotional intelligence (t = 0.900; p=0.882).
