The purpose of the study was: To determine the demographic and clinical factors associated with the quality of life in patients with chemotherapy in the Public Hospital of Iquitos 2022. Worked in a population of 100 patients with medical Dx. Cancer and receiving chemotherapy treatment in a Public Hospital of Iquitos, and the sample was 100% of the population by convenience. The technique was the survey, and the instrument was the questionnaire validated before its application with 88% validity and concordance, and a reliability of 82%, according to Cronbach's Alpha coefficient. Of the 100 patients, the ages ranged between 40 and 59 years with 38.0%, female sex in 85.0%; 87.0% with technical education; half are cohabitants, with 1 to 2 children; 8 out of 10 live with their spouse and children, 87.0% with independent occupation, and the clinical factors identified are neoplasms located in the uterus being the most frequent with 42.0%, followed by breast with 21%. Regarding lifestyle in the area of functioning the mean score is 66 +- 12.6, this result is positive or favorable to the patient; in symptom the mean score is 79.2 +- 4.8, 8, which represents a negative state. Patients evaluate their quality of life with a score of 29.8 +- 3.6, interpreted as low. We conclude that, if there is relationship of quality of life with age and sex, marital status, number of children, location of neoplasia in the three areas, and the relationship of quality of life with coexistence and occupation only in the area of symptoms because its p < 0.05; And there is no relationship between quality of life with the degree of education in the three areas, because its p > is greater than 0.05.
