The objective of this research was to determine the relationship between early childhood development and psychomotor development in one-year-old children of AA.HH. First of January, Iquitos. 2017, the method was quantitative, NonExperimental Type; Descriptive cross-sectional descriptive design; The Population was conformed by all the children of one year of age of the Human Settlement First of January that make a total of 140 children. The sample was made up of 100% of the population. The Techniques were the survey and the evaluation of psychomotor development. The instruments were a questionnaire whose Validity was 76.43%, reliability of 78.5% and the Peruvian test to evaluate the development. The results were: 43.6% (51) children have regular early childhood development; 27.4% (32) children are deficient and 29.1% (34) children are efficient; 50.4% (59) children have psychomotor development disorder; 17.1% (32) children presented risk for developmental disorder and 32.5% (38) children presented normal development. There is a statistical relationship between early childhood development and psychomotor development p = 0001; conclusion: Early childhood development is essential for the child's psychomotor development, since it will allow the child to develop potentials in the motor, cognitive, coordination, social and language areas.
